Helen Hill Hall (1962)

Hill Hall was the first building constructed in the north side residence complex during the 1960s. Designed by architect Frank Jackson and Associates, construction began on a four story structure in September 1961. The building opened for students a year later in September 1962 and intended to provide housing for 200 women.

In the summer of 1973, Health Services moved into the first floor of Hill Hall from Eastman Hall. As of 2017, Health Services still remains in Hill Hall.

In 2012, Hill and Case Halls underwent a $12.8 million renovation that included larger doorways and bathrooms, improved kitchen facilities, a computer tech center, video surveillance, and card access. It was rededicated in September 2012.
