  • Team GDI extended its winning streak, becoming the first team to win three years in a row.
  • At the closing ceremony, team GDI donated the team's first reference book for a KVSC display.
  • UTVS broadcast live for 50 hours during the contest.
  • On the Monday morning after the contest there were 31 empty pizza boxes stacked outside of KVSC.
