• The Trivia University theme was selected to honor St. Cloud State's sesquicentennial year.
• University Archivist Tom Steman wrote many questions related to St. Cloud State's history. 
• Stefan's Dream won for the 7th time since 2005.
• This was the contest 40th edition, the first being held in 1980.
• Stefan's Dream was inducted in the KVSC trivia Hall of Fame.
