Flag 1: Brown Hall complete and open. The building was named in honor of president Joseph Brown.

Flag 2: Old Model School, which opened in 1906, still stands. It would be demolished in the summer of 1960.

Flag 3: JC Brown Field continues to disappear, thanks to the additions to Shoemaker Hall and the construction of the Thomas J. Gray Campus Laboratory School.

Flag 4: Shoemaker Hall east and west additions complete and opened in the fall of 1960.
